About the Maker
Nathan King began his career as a civil engineer, delivering complex infrastructure projects across Australia, the Middle East, and the Philippines.
Today, that same discipline is applied at the bench — working in solid 18k gold, fine gemstones, and traditional granulation.
Trained in advanced stone setting and engraving in the United States and Europe, his work is shaped by precision, proportion, and structure.
Each ring begins as an engineered object and is resolved as sculpture — designed to be worn for a lifetime and passed on through generations.
Every piece is individually hand-fabricated at the bench in Manila.
The Foundation Collection forms the core of Rings by Nathan King — a permanent collection of handmade engagement rings, wedding bands, and signature pieces produced in limited numbers.
Alongside these works, Nathan accepts a limited number of private collector commissions each year.
The work draws on ancient goldsmithing traditions, reinterpreted through a modern architectural lens — where light, form, material, and structure are considered as one.
Granulation is used not only as ornament, but as a record of time — hours made visible in gold.
Private appointments are available in Makati.
